evaluate

In my plan part of my design cycle I put "I still will need to take about 238 minutes or about four hours to to make all of my project on time and turn it in on the dy its supossed to be dine witch is by october,11,2001. The following information on the bottom will show the time i took on every part of the design cycle".

day one 60 mins; choose a design and sketch it on a paper, and answer the create and answer the questions.

day two 60 mins; begin to create my arcade game

day three 40 mins; finish the arcade game

day four 20 mins; get some 6th graders and test them to see if your project helpedthem learn the design cycle.

day five 60 mins; evaluate the product based on what the kids told me they found out about the design cycle.

In my investigate part of my design cycle I put  "for this part of my design cycle i investigated my arcade game at www.classtools.net and the game is pertty good i got my question from the design cycle folder check list. that paper gave me all the answers and question to do. well the questions I had to make the but myself. and i also investigated what kind of many games people like to play. the 6th graders like to play mario type of games so the best and easiest game to play would be manic miner because its like mario that you can die . but this game you have to thre question in a row in order get the key. but thats pretty much my investigate part".

In my design part of my design cycle I put   "
I am makeing a arcade game because I think a game is more interesting and more challenging for the 6th graders to learn the design cycle  or what they are saying.i am makeing this arcade game for the 6th graders very simple  so they can understand how to use the design cycle". 
In my create part of the design cycle I first had to write the questions and answer them so that I could make my arcade game but i didnt want to do that many but i had to do ten so it was pretty hard to find ten or make ten questions and answers.

investigate Reflection

for this part of my design cycle i investigated my arcade game at www.classtools.net and the game is pertty good i got my question from the design cycle folder check list. that paper gave me all the answers and question to do. well the questions I had to make the but myself. and i also investigated what kind of many games people like to play. the 6th graders like to play mario type of games so the best and easiest game to play would be manic miner because its like mario that you can die . but this game you have to thre question in a row in order get the key. but thats pretty much my investigate part.

In my criterion F I rate myself a 5

1. In this I rate myself a 5 because in my Design Cycle I worked with Eva because she helped me a lot when doing the design cycle. I didn't really work independently, she helped that's why I rate myself a 5.
2. when doing my work i tried my best and tried to teach 6th graders how to understand the design cycle throughly and so they can teach other kids to.
3. I had a lot of time to finish my design cycle project but i didn't do the best of it and i got some help that is another reason of why i grade myself a 5 on my design cycle project.
4. I was excited on doing my arcade game because it was the first time doing a game and teaching other on the computer, and making the best of it. when doing the design cycle i tried my best to make it successful i was happy after completing my project and knowing it was correct.
5. I was really motivated when doing this project because like i said it was my first time doing this and i was successful in the end and now i can actually teach the 6th graders the design cycle.
6. I am confident in my work because i had help and others played it and thought it was hard so that makes my game successful and being able for others to learn it too.
7. The deadline was really hard for me because it was very early to finish my design cycle project but in the end i finished it and it was really successful.
8. i followed all of my procedures and did the project correctly with the help of others and Mrs.Hinojosa in the end my project was a success.
9. I followed all of the rules she told me even though it was a long process but the game  will be fun and easy to learn for the 6th graders my project was successful.

I am makeing a comic because I think a comic is really easy to draw I mean its just a picture or two and a paragraph about what is going on or what they are saying.i am makeing this comic for the 6th graders and we are makeing them very simple so they can understand how to use the design cycle

11. What are the requirements for this assignment? the requirements for this assignment is that it must have simplicty,and the rest of the design cycle. also so that the students in 6th grade can understand the steps of the design cycle.

flipbook




In a flip book I can be very simple because I can you can draw a very simple and easy drawing that the 6th graders can understand. you can also  do like a book and type a summary in the bottom about what the picture is about. A theme for the flip book is very easy just leave the background white or if you want you can do other colors as long as you can see the pictures and the word you write so that it is very clear to read it better. For the character i will draw something easy. Something simple like a stick figure so that the 6th graders can understand it . Also because i am not a very good artistic person I don't like to draw I hate drawing. The font size I will put it kind of big so that they can see i better but not to big because  then it will take up to much space then I won't be able to be very detailed with the design cycle. That is why I put a two on the character choice beacuse I am not good with drawing. For the music choice I put a four because this can have like a lot of sound effects that make the flip book more interesting to see the music is also a little hard to choose because not everyone likes the same type of  music but i will try my best to put good music on the flip book.

In simplicity I put a four because in not very good with makeing things simple. When I talk I say things very detailed and thats why I think everyone understands me. In theme choices I put a 3 because i'm not that creative I like plain things because it makes you look more mature. Also because it is very hard to put themes on a comic what ever the theme is about thats the only thing you can draw and write .In character choices I put a three because I like cool characters but i'm not that good of a drawer so i will try my best to draw cool characters also because in a comic you have to draw characters moving around or doing something. In font choices I put a two because i like small font and everyone usally like big font sizes. in music I put a one because I dont like the music that everyone else likes and they dont like the music I like

Today I researched how to make a arcade game for my project to help 6th graders learn the design cycle. i found a web site for this and it is called www.classtools.com/arcade game.I still have not decided what tool i will use to teach the sixth graders the design cycle but im pretty shure i will use this tool to teach them.
